Engineer Wael Madkour, Chief Operating Officer of the International Academy of renewable energy & energy efficiency had explained that heading the university the establishment of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering is an important step to sort out a caliber of young engineers that will be able to enter into the renewable energy sector and contribute to its development and meet the needs for trained personnel, whether engineers or technicians for the coming period.
Dr. Sobky expressed in his speech the hope that this conference sessions recommendations ends in to favor of strengthen cooperation to overcome the challenges facing the renewable energy sector and by intensifying efforts and cooperation between the academic and technical sectors in Egypt, where the International academy presented thier services to meet those challenges and offered the latest activities of developing and manufacturing solar training simulator for training institutions to contribute to raising the operational efficiency and localization of the industry locally.
It is worth mentioning that the center has trained more than 400 engineers on solar power systems, inside and outside Egypt since the beginning of it activities under the umbrella of the joint cooperation system through the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ and the Solar Energy Development Association (SEDA) and the Egyptian government and the private sector.
